Anderson Composites Type-AZ carbon fiber hood for the 2016-2024 Camaro SS features a ZL1 style with an aggressive “power bulge”. This hood utilizes a special “skeleton” bonding process to the underside of the hood for reduced weight.

- Vacuum infused process with 3K, 2×2 twill carbon fiber cloth
- Marine grade gel coat with UV inhibitors applied and polished to protect the surface and increase the high luster finish
- Mesh screen is removable and paintable
- Mounts with OE hardware (not included)
- Hood pins required for safety reasons – AeroCatch or Quic-Latch
- Heat shield required
- Anderson Composites does not suggest re-installing gas shocks/dampers/struts
- OE hood strut mount is only for temporary use while performing under hood maintenance
- Always carefully close a composite hood. Slamming or dropping the hood may cause it to crack
- The use of a hood prop rod is highly recommended
