Description
Porsche 981 Boxster & Cayman front hood, bonnet, luggage compartment cover & rear luggage, trunk & boot release opening switch.
On a 991 Carrera, this same switch operates and opens the front luggage storage compartment and the rear motor & engine lid cover.
The switch is “Matt Black” in colour.
This switch is prone to failing and breaking and will leave you unable to easily open your luggage compartments or engine lid. You won’t need any specialist tools to replace it. Simply remove the old switch (located between the drivers seat and the drivers door), disconnect the electrical connector and then fit the connector to the new switch and then fit the whole assembly back into its original location.
