Description
Just traded into the shop. I would rate this a 8 out of 10 for condition. She has a few marks through the finish that are shown in the pictures but that allow us to offer this at a great value. Amazing quality at this price point, or much more! Save a huge chunk over a new one…if you can find them.
The 2018 AR380CE is a professional-grade jazz archtop guitar designed for gigging musicians seeking a rich, amplified tone with reduced feedback. Featuring a laminated flamed maple top, back, and sides, this 16″ body instrument delivers the warm, resonant qualities typical of jazz guitars. The set-in mahogany neck with a traditional even C profile and a 12″ ebony fingerboard provides comfortable playability, complemented by a 24 3/4″ scale length and bone nut measuring 1.72″. The guitar’s frets are Jescar FW47104, with string heights set at .022″ on the first string and .078″/.062″ at the 12th fret for bass and treble strings respectively, ensuring precise action.
Amplification is handled by dual Kent Armstrong Pisano pickups with a 3-way switch, 500K linear taper potentiometers, and 0.022μF capacitors, providing a thick, full-bodied sound suitable for ensemble settings including a drummer. The hardware includes gold Gotoh SG360-EN01GG tuners, ebony bridge and tailpiece, and Pisano signature wood knobs. The guitar is finished in a Truetone gloss with maple binding on the top, back, fingerboard, and headstock, and comes equipped with a Switchcraft output jack and D’Addario NYXL strings (.012-.052). A hardshell case is included for protection.
